In order to apply for New Zealand Visa, you will be required to submit the following documents -

Your duly completed New Zealand Visitor Visa Application Form (form number INZ 1017)
A passport that holds valid for at least 3 months from the intended date of departure from New Zealand.
2 coloured, passport size photographs
An onward ticket from New Zealand or proof of funds to buy one.
Proof of funds required to sustain in New Zealand, viz. NZD1000 per month overall, or NZD400 per month if the accommodation is already paid for.
If a resident is supporting you then the Sponsorship Form is for Temporary Entry.

Steps
In order to apply for the Visa, you are required to follow the below-mentioned procedure.

Download the New Zealand Visitor Visa Application Form (form number INZ 1017) from the internet.
Fill the form completely with accurate information.
Put together the relevant supporting documents, along with your photographs.
Make sure you have the application fee ready to be paid. Kindly note that the fee is not accepted in cash.
Submit the Application form along with the supporting documents, photographs as well as the application fee at your nearest Visa Application Centre.
Once the visa is processed, you can either collect your documents or choose to get them couriered to your address.

Points to Remember
On your arrival in New Zealand, you will be required to present your passport which stands valid for at least three months from the intended date of your departure from New Zealand.
In addition, you will need the passport to be stamped with a valid New Zealand Visa.
In case you visa states 'number of entries: multiple', you are permitted to travel to and fro between India and New Zealand as many times as you want until the 'expiry date of travel'.
For the usual tourist visa, the maximum time you’re allowed to stay in New Zealand is for a period of 9 months in a period spanning 18 months. New Zealand visa is not extendable.
In case your visa expires while you’re still in New Zealand, you will be considered an as illegal immigrant and may be deported. Hence, it is highly advisable to hold a valid New Zealand Visa at all times.

Cost of New Zealand Student Visa New Zealand Visa Cost: Students who are submitting their Student Visa Application online are required to pay a Visa fee of NZD 330 + INR 747 (approximately) as the receiving centre fees (New Delhi). Candidates who are applying for their Student Visa via post are required to pay USD 222 + Rs. 1,124 (approximately) as the receiving centre fees (New Delhi). Documents Required for New Zealand Student Visa
Candidates looking to apply for their New Zealand Student Visa must have the following documents as part of their visa application process:

Valid passport – Your passport must be valid for at least three months beyond your period of stay in New Zealand

Candidates should note that the preferred mode of submitting your New Zealand Visa Application is via the online method. The online method is not only less time-consuming but also less expensive as compared to post. Here is how to complete your application online using NZ Immigration Online.

The average time taken by the New Zealand High Commission for the visa procedure is approximately 63 calendar days depending on the individual’s background. Dependents
In most cases, the spouse and dependent children of a student will be granted a visitor visa for the same duration as their partner or parents' stay. You must be in a genuine and stable relationship with your partner and you must hold a New Zealand student visa to study for:

A level seven (or higher) qualification on the New Zealand Qualification Framework in an area of absolute skill shortage as specified in the Long Term Skill Shortage List, or
A postgraduate qualification

Additional Information
As an international student, you must complete your course within the minimum course duration listed on your acceptance letter. If you do not yet have a job offer, you may apply for a Post-study work visa. Visas granted are valid for up to 12 months and allow you to work in a temporary job while you look for a job in your field.

You can work part-time for up to 20 hours per week if your program of study meets one of these criteria:

It is at least two years in duration.
It leads to a New Zealand qualification that qualifies for points towards an application for a Skilled Migrant visa.
It is a tertiary institution, and the main purpose is to develop English language skills – you must also have an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) overall band score of 5.0 or above in the general or academic modules.
You may work full-time during all vacations if you are enrolled in a full-time program of study of at least one academic year’s duration. If your full-time program of study has a duration of at least eight months, and is a minimum of two semesters, but is less than 120 credits, you can work full-time over the Christmas and New Year holiday period.

If you are enrolled in Masters by research or doctoral degree programs awarded by a New Zealand tertiary institution, there are no restrictions on the hours you can work.

IMMIGRATION VISA

Must have Documents for New Zealand Visa:
Original Passport with at least 6 months validity and minimum 3 blank pages + all old passports if any;
Visa Application form;
2 recent colour photographs (Photo Specification);
Personal Covering letter (For Employed-Plain paper/ Self-Employed-Letterhead);
Original updated Bank Statements with sufficient bank balance (last 6 months);
Income Tax Returns/Form 16 for last 3 years;
Supporting Financial Documents such as Fixed Deposits, Property Investments, Other Investments etc. (Optional);
Evidence of funds of at least NZ$ 1,000 per month for maintenance and accommodation, or NZ$ 400 per month if your accommodation has been prepaid. In the form of bank statements, saving books or fixed deposit certificates, or Completed sponsorship form INZ 1025 if your visit is being sponsored by a New Zealand citizen/resident.
